This is a four-leaf clover.

Unfortunately, the two are often treated as one and the same, particularly on St. Patrick’s Day when four-leaf clovers are portrayed as a symbol of Ireland

Even the shamrock emoji has it wrong.

Today, Dara Ó Briain has taken it upon himself to educate the masses on the difference between the two.

All right people, it's very simple. A shamrock has THREE leaves. And a four leaf clover has nothing to do with Ireland.
